CHWC 2005 - Bluffton, SC!!!!!!!

Picture this for how you can spend a week of your summer: waking up at 6 AM to go work outside in the hot sun for 6 hours painting a house or cleaning up a yard, only to spend your afternoon free time at Mass followed by a 3 hour nightly program before going to sleep in a classroom with 20 other people on a slightly deflated air mattress to start it all over again the next day. Sound like fun? It is! Last week 30 teens and 7 adults traveled to Bluffton, SC for Catholic HEART Workcamp to serve the community and most importantly God. Now I have been on my share of Workcamps (this one was my fifth), but I can definitely say I had the best experience last week. Like Cassi said tonight at Mass, all of the teens at St. Ben's are incredible, and that was confirmed for me this past week seeing God work through them. And instead of coming back to Atlanta and crashing after a week of exhaustion, they're instead planning next year's Workcamp for Jamaica.

So get ready for some hardcore fundraising coming up........we're all ready to surrender all and serve the Lord!
